Grupo Sarlo’s First Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory
At Grupo Sarlo, we believe that innovation also means producing in an increasingly responsible way. That is why, in 2025, we completed our first Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Inventory, an important milestone in our journey toward continuous improvement and sustainability.
What is a GHG Inventory and how was it conducted?
An emissions inventory is an assessment that maps the environmental impact of an operation. Ours was developed through the Decarbonization Journey, an initiative by SENAI-SP in partnership with SEBRAE-SP, using the internationally recognized GHG Protocol methodology.
At this stage, emissions from the following scopes were assessed:
- Scope 1 – Direct emissions from our operations.
- Scope 2 – Indirect emissions resulting from the electricity we consume.
- Scope 3 – Emissions related to our supply chain, transportation, waste and travel.

This work allowed us to identify and understand the main emission sources associated with our operations and value chain, creating a solid foundation to guide future actions aimed at reducing environmental impacts.

Knowledge and actions that deliver results
The data also highlights the positive impact of initiatives Grupo Sarlo has already been implementing over recent years.
One of the main highlights is our on-site energy generation through a photovoltaic system, which helps reduce emissions associated with electricity consumption and reinforces our commitment to renewable energy sources and more efficient operations.
More than simply measuring emissions, this inventory represents a commitment to continuous progress. It will serve as a reference for monitoring our performance, setting goals and directing investments toward efficiency, innovation and increasingly sustainable practices.
Sustainability is a way of thinking about the future
With more than four decades of experience developing solutions for water handling and treatment, we understand that caring for this resource also means seeking more responsible ways to produce.
We will continue investing in processes, technologies and initiatives that create value for our customers, employees, partners and society, contributing to a Brazilian industry that is increasingly prepared to face the challenges of a low-carbon economy.
